If you are interested in becoming a facilitator for First Out please make contact with us through 'outhouse' (See “Contact us” section for contact details) to inquire about availability. Recruitment of new facilitators only takes place quite infrequently, as there are only three “posts” and we tend to stay on as facilitators for longer periods of time. The informal structure of First Out is reflected in our recruitment of new facilitators. New facilitators will be expected to attend a few meetings together with experienced facilitators initially, but will be equally involved in the running of these meetings. Any problems that arise and any questions that the new facilitator may have will be addressed along the way by the experienced facilitators. If everyone is happy with the contribution of the new facilitator, her role will become permanent unless problems arise later.
